The Girly Spa day that was well needed – Ramside Hall, Durham.

We booked on the New Year New Me Package which contained a full days use of the spa, a 60 minute treatment and a two course lunch in their Fusion Brasserie.

We arrived at the spa at 10am and quickly got ourselves ready for our treatment at 10:30am. We both chose aromatherapy massages which were absolutely divine. I had mine done with the Fitness oil by ESPA which is Deeply warming to soothe tired muscles.

On Mothers Day I treat my Mum to a lovely full day at Ramside Hall spa in Durham. I’d always wanted to go to to a Spa but i’d never really had the money or the opportunity so I thought it would be nice to take my mum with me.

After we were finished our massage, we were taken in to the Sleep Station which contained huge massage beds for you to chill in which were delightful. There was also fresh fruit and water provided.
The next stop was our two course lunch at the pan-asian Fusion restaurant. As we were on a spa package, we got a two course meal included. This was from a set menu, however I think that there was something for everyone on it.

The rest of the day was then spend lazing around the pool, chatting and using the various saunas, steam rooms and my favourite, the Himalayan salt room.

If you are going to Ramside in the near future I would really reccommend getting a smoothie by the pool as they are absolutely delicious!
